Travel RN - ICU (Surgical Trauma ICU)

🕒 Shift: Nights | 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
📆 Schedule: 3 × 12-Hour Shifts
Scheduled Hours: 36 hours/week

💰 Weekly Pay Package:

• Gross Weekly Pay: $2,328

• Taxable Pay: $648/week

• Non-Taxable Stipend: $1,680/week

Unit Details:

• 20-bed Surgical Trauma ICU

• Level I Trauma Center

• Patient Ratio: 1:2-3, depending on acuity.

• Magnet-designated facility

• Comprehensive Stroke Center

• Epic EMR

• Alaris IV pumps and Pyxis medication dispensing.

• Self-scheduling available within weekend guidelines.

• Free parking available.

Patient Population:

• Multi-system trauma

• Gunshot and stab wounds

• Spinal trauma

• General and vascular surgeries

• Kidney transplant patients

• Massive transfusion cases

• Organ donation and end-of-life care

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience.

• Must currently be working as an ICU RN.

• BLS and ACLS required.

• NIHSS and TNCC preferred.

• Epic experience required.

• Ventilator and tracheostomy management.

• Invasive line management (A-lines, ICP, CVP, central lines).

• Cardiac rhythm interpretation.

• Critical care medication titration experience.

Additional Information:

• First-time travelers accepted.

• Every other weekend required (Friday and Saturday for night shift).

• No on-call requirement.

• Holiday commitment: 50% of holidays during the contract.

• Floating required to other ICU, cardiac, neuro, and stepdown/tele units. No MedSurg floating.

• Travelers are first to float.

• One day of orientation plus preceptor/resource partner support.

• 12 hours of non-billable orientation.

• Required scrub color: Navy blue.
