Travel RN - ICU (Medical Intensive Care Unit)

Location: Alexandria, LA
Start Date: November 16, 2026
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Shift: Days and Nights both available
Schedule: 4 × 12-hour shifts
Guaranteed Hours: 48 hours/week

Weekly Pay Package:

• Gross Weekly Pay: $3,004.96

• Taxable Pay: $1,702.96/week

• Non-Taxable Stipend: $1,302/week

Unit Details:

• 26-bed Medical ICU

• 2:1 patient ratio

• Meditech EBCD documentation system

• Advanced critical care equipment, including ventilators, Alaris IV pumps, balloon pumps, and ventriculostomy drains.

• Self-scheduling available within facility guidelines.

• Every other weekend and holiday requirements.

• Floating to other Medical-Surgical units may be required, with priority focus on ICU units.

Requirements:

• Previous ICU experience required.

• BLS and ACLS certifications required.

• TNCC preferred.

• Ventilator management experience.

• Critical care drip knowledge.

• Strong cardiac, neurological, and respiratory assessment skills.

• Must be willing to care for COVID-19 patients.

• Strong teamwork, communication, and adaptability.

Additional Information:

• 4 hours of non-billable orientation.

• Facility may call off up to 3 shifts during the 13-week contract.

• Ceil blue scrubs required; green surgical scrubs provided when working with COVID-19 patients.
