Travel Progressive Care/Stepdown Registered Nurse - Cape Coral, FL - (Days)

ProTouch Staffing is hiring a skilled Progressive Care/Stepdown RN for a cardiac PCU assignment in Cape Coral, Florida. The nurse will provide care to patients requiring cardiac monitoring and progressive-level nursing care in a 39-bed unit.

ASSIGNMENT HIGHLIGHTS

• - Specialty: Progressive Care / Stepdown - Cardiac PCU

• - Location: Cape Coral, FL

• - Contract Duration: 14 Weeks

• - Start Date: December 4, 2026

• - End Date: March 6, 2027

• - Shift: Days

• - Schedule: 4x12-hour shifts

• - Scheduled Hours: 48 hours per week

• - Overtime: After 48 hours per week

• - Patient Ratios: 4:1 to 5:1

• - Charting System: EPIC

• - Floating: Required; travelers are first to float and may float to other sister campuses

• - On-Call: None

• - Call-Off Policy: Facility may cancel up to 3 shifts in a 13-week contract due to low census

WEEKLY COMPENSATION

• - Gross Weekly Pay: $3,063.88

• - Taxable Weekly Pay: $1,516.88

• - Non-Taxable Weekly Stipends: $1,547.00

EXPERIENCE & REQUIREMENTS

• - Minimum of 2 years of Progressive Care Unit (PCU) experience.

• - Cardiac nursing experience required.

• - Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.

• - Must be able to recognize and interpret EKG rhythms.

• - Prior travel nursing experience preferred.

• - Florida or Compact RN license required.

• - Recent Nursys report must be included in the profile.

• - Degree accreditation must be documented on the profile, or candidates must have at least 5 years of PCU experience.

• - Must be willing to float as required.

• - All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted with the initial profile; additional RTO requests will not be approved after submission.

• - Must provide complete demographic information at submission.

• - All required documents must be completed by the Monday before the start date; pending documents will not be accepted.

• - Candidates must be within the facility's 50-mile radius requirement based on their permanent address.
