Job Description

3 years of experience REQUIRED!
Looking for a SEASONED RN & TRAVELER that can help train newer staff members.
Recent electrophysiology experience to include device implants and ablations. Skill set to include, circulation, scrubbing, hemodynamic monitoring and insertion of intra-arterial/venous catheters during the EP procedures.
Days - 4x10s
Hours - 40 M-F
Required Certifications (i.e., BLS, ACLS?) Yes
Common diagnoses/Types of patients CAD/adult/Devices(pacemakers), support the hybrid OR for structural Heart
Job Duties Nurses scrub and provide conscious sedation
Experience or 'Must have' skills Cath Lab experieince
EMR/Equipment Meditach/Xper
Cardiologist hours/on call 7a-5:30p/ Nurses take 9-12 calls a month
Is there a manager/Charge Nurse on each shift? Does the charge nurse take an assignment? Yes- there is as a Supervisor. If needed will assist with cases.
Cath Lab Techs 5
Shifts & Scheduling (Do you allow self-scheduling? Block scheduling?) 4 x 10 hour shift/self scheduling
Weeknight/Call Requirements Combination totaling 9-12 a month
Weekend/Call Requirements Combination totaling 9-12 a month
Holiday/Call Requirements yes rotated within the group
What is call response time? 30 minutes
Floating Requirements none
Scrub Color/Dress Code scrubs provided inhouse
How many shifts of unit/department specific orientation? typically 4 days
