Protouch Staffing is seeking an experienced Travel Registered Nurse for a Stepdown/PCU/IMC assignment in Dayton, Ohio. This opportunity offers flexible 36- or 48-hour weekly schedules, competitive compensation, and the chance to care for patients in a progressive and intermediate care setting.

Assignment Highlights

• Location: Dayton, OH

• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks

• Shift: Nights, 7 PM - 7:30 AM

• Schedule Options: 3 shifts per week (36 hours) or 4 shifts per week (48 hours)

• Patient Ratios: Target ratio of 1:4, with ratios potentially reaching 1:5-6

• Holiday Requirement: Must be available to work at least every other holiday

• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend

• Floating: Travelers may be first to float at the facility's discretion. Floating may occur within specialty clusters, with medically appropriate assignments or nursing care team support.

Weekly Compensation

36-Hour Schedule

• Gross Weekly Pay: $2,258

• Taxable Weekly Pay: $900

• Non-Taxable Weekly Stipends: $1,358

48-Hour Schedule

• Gross Weekly Pay: $2,996

• Taxable Weekly Pay: $1,638

• Non-Taxable Weekly Stipends: $1,358

For the 48-hour contract, overtime is paid after 48 hours.

Experience & Requirements

• Minimum 1.5 years of PCU experience

• EPIC experience required

• Experience with stable chronic ventilators required

• Must pass an online EKG/telemetry competency assessment before starting the assignment

• BLS and ACLS required

• NIH required

• IV start experience preferred

• Level I or Level II trauma experience preferred

• Travel experience preferred

Floating Requirements

• Travelers may float between specialty clusters based on facility needs.

• Assignments will be medically appropriate to the nurse's specialty and qualifications.

• Floating may include multiple campuses within the Dayton area.
