Protouch Staffing is seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) for a 13-week travel assignment in Huntington, West Virginia. Join a traveler-friendly surgical team providing care across a wide range of specialties in a dynamic operating room environment.

Assignment Highlights

• Specialty: Operating Room (OR)

• Location: Huntington, West Virginia

• Contract Length: 13 weeks

• Start Date: November 30, 2026

• Schedule: 40 hours per week

• Shift: Day shift with varied start times

• Shift Structure: Two 12-hour shifts and two 8-hour shifts

• Potential Shift Times: 7 AM - 7 PM, 9 AM - 9 PM, 11 AM - 11 PM, 7 AM - 3 PM, and 3 PM - 11 PM

• Weekends: Weekend availability required

• Call: No call requirement

• Scheduling: Block scheduling is not approved

• Scrubs: Scrub attire preferred

Weekly Compensation

• Gross Weekly Compensation: $2,694.20

• Taxable Weekly Wages: $1,427.20

• Potential Non-Taxable Weekly Stipends: $1,267

Compensation is based on the scheduled 40-hour workweek and individual stipend eligibility.

Experience & Requirements

Required

• Active West Virginia or compact RN license at the time of submission

• Current BLS certification

• Operating room circulating experience

• Scrub experience preferred

• Ability to work across multiple surgical specialties

• Flexibility to support varied shift times and surgical service needs

Clinical Experience Across Multiple Specialties
Candidates should be comfortable working in a broad surgical environment that may include:

• Cardiovascular and thoracic surgery (CVT)

• Neurosurgery

• Orthopedics

• Cataracts

• ENT

• Trauma services

Scheduling Considerations

• Holiday time-off requests are restricted during the week before, the week of, and the week after winter holidays. Requests may be submitted for manager review.

• Requested time off is subject to approval.
