Travel Medical/Surgical RN Opportunity in Show Low, Arizona

Protouch Staffing is seeking an experienced Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse (Med/Surg RN) for a 13-week contract in Show Low, Arizona. Join a supportive acute care team providing medical-surgical nursing care in a unit with telemetry capability across all beds.

Assignment Highlights

• Specialty: Medical/Surgical Nursing

• Location: Show Low, Arizona

• Contract Length: 13 weeks

• Start Date: November 9, 2026

• Shift: Nights

• Schedule: Three 12-hour shifts per week

• Weekly Hours: 36

• Scrubs: Any color; scrubs are not provided

• Floating: May float to other Medical/Surgical units and the ICU to care for Med/Surg overflow patients

Weekly Compensation

• Gross Weekly Compensation: $2,181.32

• Taxable Weekly Wages: $634.32

• Potential Non-Taxable Weekly Stipends: $1,547

Compensation is based on the scheduled 36-hour workweek and individual stipend eligibility.

Experience & Requirements

Required

• At least 2 years of acute care Medical/Surgical nursing experience

• Current BLS certification

• Current ACLS certification

• Experience providing care in an acute care Med/Surg setting

Preferred

• Current PALS certification

Clinical Environment

• 10-bed Medical/Surgical unit

• Telemetry capability available on all beds

• Typical nurse-to-patient ratios:

  • Days: 1:5

  • Nights: 1:6

  • Pediatric patients: 1:4, depending on acuity

• Unit support includes telemetry technicians, charge nurses, health unit coordinators (HUCs), and patient care technicians (PCTs)

• Nurse managers conduct rounds but do not provide direct patient care
