Travel Registered Nurse (RN) - Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU)

ProTouch Staffing is seeking a qualified PACU RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Cedar Rapids, IA. This opportunity offers a consistent weekday day-shift schedule, competitive weekly pay, and a $1,000 completion bonus.

ASSIGNMENT HIGHLIGHTS:

Specialty: Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU)
Location: Cedar Rapids, IA
Contract Duration: 13 weeks
Start Date: November 16, 2026
Shift: Days, Monday-Friday
Schedule: 5x8-hour shifts
Hours: 40 hours per week
Shift Start: As early as 6:00 AM; may vary based on case volume
Weekends: No weekends
On-Call: No on-call requirement
Floating: May float to Vascular Holding or Diagnostic Cardiology
Holiday Requirement: May be required to work 1-2 of the upcoming 3 winter holidays

WEEKLY COMPENSATION:

Gross Weekly Pay: $2,567
Taxable Weekly Pay: $1,300
Non-Taxable Weekly Stipends: $1,267
Completion Bonus: $1,000

EXPERIENCE & REQUIREMENTS

Experience in PACU or a related procedural care setting.
Ability to care for pre- and post-procedure patients.
Experience with cardiac catheterization patients preferred.
Knowledge of groin and radial access site management.
EMR: EPIC
Patient Ratio: 1:3
Must live at least 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not eligible.
Candidates who have worked for the health system as an employee or PRN within the past 12 months may be ineligible for travel assignments in another market.

UNIT DETAILS

19 pre/post procedure rooms.
Patient population includes heart catheterization, cardiac cath, and potentially electrophysiology (EP) procedures.
Care includes groin and radial site management.
