Protouch Staffing is seeking a Registered Nurse for a 13-week Medical-Surgical/Telemetry travel assignment in Alexandria, Louisiana. This opportunity offers competitive weekly compensation and a 12-hour night-shift schedule. Candidates with cardiac telemetry and related cardiac care experience are encouraged to apply.

Assignment Highlights

• Location: Alexandria, LA

• Specialty: Medical-Surgical / Telemetry

• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks

• Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM

• Schedule: 3 shifts per week

• Scheduled Hours: 36 hours per week

Weekly Compensation

• Gross Weekly Pay: $2,292

• Taxable Weekly Pay: $990

• Non-Taxable Weekly Stipends: $1,302

Experience & Requirements

Must Have:

• ACLS certification

• BLS certification

Preferred Experience:

• Cardiac telemetry

• Cardiac catheterization recovery

• Stroke care

• Chest tube management

• Cardiac infusion experience

Clinical Skills & Procedures:

• IV starts

• Cardiac rhythm surveillance and escalation

• Post-catheterization access-site and neurovascular assessments

• Radial band management

• Chest tube care

• Monitoring cardiac infusions

• PCA pump care

• Stroke and neurological assessments

Preferred Candidate Qualities:

• Positive and adaptable

• Team-oriented and ready to learn

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced cardiac/stroke environment
