Protouch Staffing is seeking experienced Progressive Care Registered Nurses with strong cardiac backgrounds for a travel assignment beginning December 4, 2026. Bring your cardiac and Stepdown nursing expertise to a specialized 36-bed unit while earning competitive weekly compensation.

ASSIGNMENT HIGHLIGHTS

• Gross Weekly Pay: $2,241.44

• Location: Fort Myers, FL

• Contract: 14 Weeks (pending date confirmation)

• Start Date: December 4, 2026

• Schedule: 3x12 Days | 36 Hours/Week

• Shift Duration: 12-Hour Day Shifts

• Openings: 3 Positions

• Unit: 36-Bed Cardiac Medical / Progressive Care

• Patient Ratios: 1:4-5

• On-Call: None

• Floating: Required, including possible assignments at nearby locations

• Charting: Epic

• Holiday Availability: No time off during Christmas week

WEEKLY COMPENSATION

• Gross Weekly Pay: $2,241.44

• Taxable Weekly Pay: $694.44

• Non-Taxable Weekly Stipends: $1,547

• Taxable Hourly Rate: $19.29/hour

• Overtime: After 40 hours per week, subject to applicable law and assignment terms

EXPERIENCE & REQUIREMENTS

Required:

• Minimum 2 years of Progressive Care (PCU) nursing experience

• Cardiac nursing experience

• BLS certification

• ACLS certification

• NIHSS certification

• Epic electronic medical record experience

• Ability to manage cardiac and progressive care patient assignments

• Willingness to float based on staffing needs

• Availability for 36-hour day-shift scheduling

• Availability during Christmas week

Additional Requirements:

• No Christmas week time off

• Permanent residence must be outside the 50-mile radius.

• Degree accreditation documentation or a minimum of 5 years of experience is required, per assignment requirements.

• All requested time off must be communicated before submission.

• Travelers must be comfortable working collaboratively with permanent staff and floating as needed.
