Travel Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Days | Peru, IL

Unit: Respiratory Therapy (12-bed med/surge, small rural hospital)
Assignment length: 13 weeks
Start date: 11/16/2026
Shift: Days, 12-hour shifts
Hours: 36 per week (3 x 12)
Weekends/holidays: Every other weekend and every other holiday
On-call: None

About the role
Looking for an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week travel contract on day shift. You'll provide general respiratory care in a small, close-knit acute care hospital, with a supervisor who will train you on the equipment and workflow.

Responsibilities

General respiratory therapy, including nebulizer treatments and ABGs
BiPAP, ventilator management, and high-flow therapy
Neopuff
Float to other units and departments that RTs cover

Equipment
Servo Classic, Servo Lite, V60, Parapac, Vapotherm, EKG

Requirements

Active RRT/CRT credential (NBRC)
Active BLS (AHA)
Active Illinois license, or application already in process
Minimum 3 years of RT experience
Must pass a drug screen, as OSF is a drug-free campus

Other details

12-hour paid orientation, with department training from the supervisor
Scrub color: any
Call-off policy: up to 12 hours every 13 weeks with no penalty

What you'll need

2 years of experience, BLS and national and state certification and/or as required
