Job Title: RN - IMC (Intermediate Care / Progressive Care), Travel, 13 Weeks, Days

Location: UW Health University Hospital, 600 Highland Ave, Madison, WI 53792
Start Date: November 9, 2026
Duration: 13 weeks

Units: IMC Thoracic (B4/3) and IMC Acute Med/Progressive Care (D6/5). You will work in both units.
Shift: Days, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM (4 x 12-hour shifts per week, Monday to Friday)
Weekends: Every other weekend
Holidays: Some holidays required. You must be available to work 12/24 and 12/25, as the unit will not approve time off for these dates.

About the Role
UW Health University Hospital is looking for a travel RN to join its Intermediate Care units on a 13-week day-shift contract. You'll float between the Thoracic IMC and the Acute Med/Progressive Care IMC, caring for complex telemetry, oncology, and cardiac patients.

Requirements

Active Wisconsin RN license or compact RN license
Minimum 2 years of experience
Telemetry, oncology, cardiac, and PCU/DOU/IMC/Step-down experience required
Ventilator and transplant experience required
Epic charting experience required (within the past 12 months preferred)
BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA only)
Must pass a telemetry test before being cleared to start
Flu vaccine required (medical or religious exemptions only)
