This position has guaranteed 36 hour weeks for the full assignment. Exact shifts are decided on with the facility.

This position is a 13 week contract assignment. Many assignments are extended beyond the initial period.

About this role

Requirements:

Minimum 1+ year experience required
BLS, ACLS & NIHSS
Candidates must be able to handle a 6 patient (med-surg) or a 3 patient (stepdown)

Common diagnoses/Types of patients

Flex unit: Serves both floor and step-down patients, based on patient and hospital needs.
Diverse patient population with primarily medical diagnoses - medicine unit
RNs will have orders written to titrate drips.
Common titratable &/or set rate drips: Heparin, insulin, anti-hypertensives, antiarrythmics, phenobarbitol, ketamine, morphine/dilaudid/fentanyl PCAs, TPN

Pay breakdown:

Gross Pay (weekly): $2383

Taxable Pay (weekly): $1116

Non-taxable Pay (weekly): $1267

Shift: Days & Nights available

Scheduled Hours : 36

Contract length : 13 weeks
