Unit Highlights

Level IV Trauma Center
1:3 or 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio
30 private ER rooms, including a six-room EDOU observation unit
6 fast-track beds staffed with a PA for minor, non-urgent needs
1 seclusion room and 5 additional monitored rooms
5 techs supporting the unit during peak hours

Qualifications

Active RN license (license to submit required)
Minimum 2 years of RN experience
Current ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), PALS (AHA), NIHSS, and TNCC certifications
BSN not required

Systems

EMR: Allscripts Sunrise
Medication dispensing: Omnicell

Good to Know

8 hours of orientation
Scrubs are not provided. Any color except all black is acceptable.
