Position Details

Adult Emergency Department
1:5 patient ratio
EPIC charting experience required
Every other weekend
Every other holiday, if needed
Floating required within skillset

Required Experience & Skills

Adult/Pediatric Emergency Department experience
IV therapy, including:
- Blood product administration
- Central line care
- Phlebotomy
- Starting and maintaining IVs
- IV vasopressors
CPAP/BiPAP
Ventilator management
CVA/Stroke
Neuro-trauma
Spinal cord injury
TBI
Cardiac monitoring and dysrhythmia management
Emergency care
Gunshot wounds
Orthopedic trauma
Triage
Isolation precautions
Pediatric spinal cord injury

License & Certifications

BLS required
ACLS required
NIHSS required

Additional Information

Locals: RNs within 75 miles of the facility are not accepted
Floating may be required within the nurse's skill set.
Scrub color: Any combination of navy blue and white
Special equipment includes Bair Hugger, rapid infuser, and safe patient handling equipment.
